Reduce PMS Symptoms in a healthy way

1. Start with a full medical exam to eliminate organic diseases  or infections
2. Create a monthly journal and menstruation date and all symptoms and relevant information
3. Reduce consumption of alcohol, coffee, salt, sugars and red meat. vegetarian low fat diets are known to reduce length and severity of menstrual cramps
1200 mg Calcium administered  daily (through food and supplements) may reduce up to 50% of the symptoms from mood and depression to menstrual crampsand vitamins:
  • Breast tenderness might be reduced by taking 600 IU of Vitamin E daily
  • 300 mg to 500 mg daily Magnesium supplements reduces sugar carving and breast tenderness
5. Increase intake of : fruit, cereals, whole grains, complex carbohydrates and green leaf vegetables
6. Use a heated pad for cramps (you can use a sock filled with rice and microwave heated)
7. Talk to your physician if PMS symptoms persist
