Don’t start your day smoking

Scientists from Pennsylvania Medical University advise that people who light a cigarette as soon as they wake up have a 30% higher risk of lung cancer than people that do not smoke in the first part of the day.
In addition to the above statement, by measuring the cotinine levels from lungs (cotinine is  a metabolite of nicotine), researchers proved that people who smoke menthol cigarettes may retain cotinine in the blood for a longer period because menthol can compete with cotinine enzymatic metabolism.
As a conclusion: Stop Smoking and Stay Healthy!
