Fathers transmit to future mothers tension and anxiety, therefore their bodies produce high amount of adrenaline. This hormone inhibits the secretion of oxytocin, a very important hormone during labor that induces contractions. Without oxytocin the woman has to endure a longer, more painful and difficult labor that may rise complications. Unfortunately, the presence of mail doctors in the delivery room has the same unwanted effect.
