nutmegSpecialists recommend to use the spice in small quantities, in large quantity having toxic effects. 5-6 drops of nutmeg oil added in soup or tea, twice a day, helps fight insomnia, indigestion, eliminates intestinal parasites and reduces halitosis effect (bad breath).

Nutmeg powder is used to spice cookies, pasta and cheese dishes. It can also be used to spice cabbage dishes or for vegetables stews.
